CA to Acquire Nimsoft
CA Inc., (NASDAQ:CA) has signed a definitive agreement to acquire privately-held Nimsoft, Inc.-a provider of IT performance and availability monitoring solutions for emerging enterprises and Managed Service Providers (MSPs)-in an all-cash transaction valued at $350 million. The acquisition significantly extends CA’s ability to meet the unique IT management needs of emerging enterprises and MSPs, both of which are playing leading roles in the growth of cloud computing. CA estimates that emerging enterprises, which it categorizes as organizations with annual revenues from $300 million to $2 billion, will account for approximately a quarter of the software spending in CA’s market space by 2013.

AOL Gives Consumers Their Lifestream
AOL’s Lifestream, will now be available via desktop as a standalone product as well as on the iPhone and Android mobile platforms. Lifestream allows users to view status messages and posts from their friends on Facebook, Twitter, Digg, YouTube and much more - all in one place. In addition, Lifestream will now include updates from foursquare and MySpace. Since Lifestream’s launch within AIM a few months ago, usage has soared to nearly 2 million users* making it one of the largest aggregators of social content on the Web.

Warner Music Group and Dailymotion Announce Video Content Partnership
Dailymotion and Warner Music Group have entered a new partnership to offer music videos via Dailymotion’s website in the U.S., Europe and North Africa. Visitors will be given unlimited, on-demand, ad-supported access to thousands of music videos, concerts and interviews from Warner Music’s roster of local and international acts.
