Strategy role-playing fans can breathe a little more since an american version of the third entry in the Disgaea universe has just been announced, already available in Japan. NIS America is in charge of the localisation for Disgaea 3 in the american territory. Announced for August 2008 as an Playstation 3 exclusive title, it will once again go back to 2D pixels similar to older games. That’s one of the critic towards it too, as it does not use sprites in high definition.

The game takes place in demon school Maritsu Evil Academy. Quickly, Mao, Raspberyl and the other characters engage an army of monsters on various fields. Then, all is needed is to move troops and chain attacks to mow down the competition.
