Comtrex Communications announces its award of a one year contract to supply two-way radio accessories to the Ontario Ministry of Community Safety and Correctional Services ("Ministry") to be used within Provincial correctional facilities across Ontario.

Comtrex shipped the initial large order in the first quarter of 2006 and will continue to supply products on an as-needed-basis for the initial one (1) year term. The Ministry has reserved an option to extend the contract by a second year, which would allow Comtrex to supply the Ministry into 2008. Comtrex Communications is a North-American manufacturer and distributor of radio, cellular, tactical, safety and protection equipment with distribution facilities in Niagara Falls, NY USA and Toronto, ON, Canada.
